Kelsey Floro moved to Chicago from his hometown of Sewickley, Pennsylvania, in 2011 to study communications and digital and new media at Loyola University Chicago. A few years later, he started bartending at SIP, Port & Park’s predecessor at 4000 N. Southport. It was his first bartending gig and it stuck! Kelsey loves the opportunities bartending provides to engage with so many people - his colleagues, regulars, neighbors and first-timers alike. Having spent 11 years at our location, he credits the friendly, neighborhood clientele and the family-like atmosphere for his longevity. Kelsey’s personal passions include writing short stories (he is currently working on publishing a collection of his stories) and he is hoping to release his first short film later this year. He also spends time as a realtor when not working at Port & Park. Stop in and say hi, and give his old fashioned a try!
